What can I expect at my Sound bath?
Everyone reacts differently to Sound baths. Some people fall asleep within moments while some people get a burst of energy; most people, however, go into a deep meditative state and some people even experience detox-like symptoms.
In our sound bath experience together, we will begin by listening to the sound and feeling the vibration of each of the seven bowls individually and listen to a brief description of the corresponding chakra. This can help us focus on our individual intention for the sound bath. We will also set a group intention. This will be followed by a short (two/three minute) guided breathing activity. Next, is the main part of our time together when I will play the bowls and chimes for approximately 40 minutes while you relax. At the end of that time, we will gradually return to our present consciousness. At this time, people are often inclined to shared with one another their experiences. Because a sound bath can be a detoxifying experience, it is important that you have water on hand in order to hydrate.
