Sound healing techniques use sound, vibration and intention to gently transition a person from their normal waking state of consciousness (beta) to a highly relaxed state of consciousness (alpha/theta). In this relaxed state a person’s own innate healing abilities are able to work more effectively to bring a person back to optimal vibrational alignment that enhances overall health and well-being.

We (Harmonic Waves) are not a licensed health care professional. As such, we will not diagnose, prescribe substances, perform medical treatment, nor interfere with the treatment of a physician or other medical professional. The services we offer are considered complimentary to traditional western medical practices. Sound baths are not medical procedures and are not meant to cure any medical conditions. They are a form of energy healing, utilizing frequencies and sound to aid the body in its own natural healing process.

Sound healing is contraindicated for the following conditions, so please check with your doctor before proceeding with a sound bath if you have any of the following:

*people with cardiac pacemakers, artificial heart valves, or cardiac arrythmias

*people with carotid stenosis or carotid atherosclerosis

*people with a stent or shunt

*people with a deep brain stimulation device (DBS)

*people with epilepsy

*people with implanted infusion pumps

*people who are post-surgery, prior to suture removal, and/or prior to a full healing and closing of surgical incisions.

* people in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy
